Emmanuel earned his first bachelor’s degree from the University of Dar es Salaam where he pursued BSc. Geology majoring in Geology and Geography. He further undertook postgraduate studies in the field of Geology majoring in applied Geophysics through a sandwich program between the University of Dar es Salaam of Tanzania and Stockholm University of Sweden. He is registered with NEMC as an ESIA Expert. Emmanuel occupied significant vacancies which are the basis for his carrier development, starting with the Savanna Exploration Company (Field Geologist), COWI Tanzania Limited (Hydrogeologist, Project Manager and Quality Manager) and MTL Consulting (Projects Manager and General Manager).
Emmanuel’s particular expertise and experience are based on strategic planning, formulation of Projects concept designs and project logistics; impacts assessment, Projects and contract management, detailed project mapping, conducting feasibility studies; projects supervision, business administration, company interface management both internal and external. He has worked extensively in the public and private sectors relating to extractive industry (mining), energy and infrastructure sectors. This includes working for the Tanzanian Government, its local authorities, SADC and various private companies such as Savannah Exploration Ltd, GGM, Barrick/Twiga Cooperation (North Mara, Bulyanhulu, Buwagi and Tulawaka Gold Mine), Kibo PLC, OreCorp Tanzania Limited, Strandline Resources, Panda Hill, Helium One Global, TANAPA, Kabanga/Tembo Nickel, TanzGraphite/Kibaran Resources, Enerfin, Twiga Cement (TPCPLC), Tanga Cement (TCPLC), Mbeya Cement (MCCL), Seaport Group for Oman Investment Authority, Ministry of Minerals, Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Water, ERM for TANESCO,
ERM for TDGC, Upepo Energy, PMM etc.
As a result of successfully completing all project work to date and holding distinguished academic standing, Emmanuel is widely recognized as an expert in earth resource studies in Tanzania and for the SADC Water Division. In addition, he has a considerable knowledge of Computer Mapping applications such as ArcGIS 9, Map Source and IX1D Software, and Geosoft Montaj Software
